"Musavat" party appealed to the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who currently chairs the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, with a complaint against the Baku Mayor's Office, which does not provide the party venue for the congress.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
