Public Alliance "Azerbaijan without political prisoners" will hold in the near future a Nationwide Forum on political prisoners. The decision was taken at a meeting held on 7 March alliance. Participants of the meeting condemned upholding the previous sentence against the former head of the Ministry of Health Ali Insanov, use of false witnesses in the trial of activists of NIDA, the prosecutor's offer in the case of "Ismailly events" to convict leader "REAL" Ilgar Mamedov and deputy chairman of the party " Musavat" Tofig Yagublu , recent arrests of PPFA activists.
In order to attract the attention of local and international community to the problem of political prisoners, members of the alliance decided to hold Nationwide forum. In addition , on April 2 alliance, being a public association the Alliance will hold its report-election conference.—06D—

On February 5, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine. According to the document, the Ministry of Energy has been allocated 1 million US dollars to purchase and send electrical equipment, manufactured in Azerbaijan, to Ukraine.
