New UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan
Ghulam Isakzai from Afghanistan has been appointed as the new UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Turan was told at the UN Press Office in Baku.
According to UN sources, Isakzai previously worked in various positions in the United Nations system in Nepal, North Korea, and others. To this day, he was Deputy Resident of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The previous head of the UN office in Baku, Antonius Broek left Azerbaijan in November 2015.-02D-
