ODIHR OSCE election monitoring will be objective, as always
Vice-Speaker Bahar Muradova adopted on Wednesday Director of the OSCE Michael Link, the press service of the Parliament. According to the same source, Muradova said about the great importance attached to the cooperation with the OSCE Baku and its related entities. She further said that these relations should be based on "today's reality in the world"
According to her, most of the values of the OSCE "set" in Azerbaijan, and Baku, "all these years have been faithful to its commitments."
Next, she expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the results of monitoring elections in Azerbaijan various OSCE institutions differed from each other, that "has a negative impact on the image of the organization."
In turn, Michael Link noted that the activities of the OSCE ODIHR election monitoring are based on certain principles and standards. They involve accounting and lighting all opinions, observations and analysis of all the facts in order to derive an objective assessment.
This issue was discussed at a meeting of the OSCE ODIHR and PACE. Just in this form will be monitored this year's upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, said Link. -02D-
