According to official data, by 5:00 PM on January 29, 28.77% of voters participated in the municipal elections in Azerbaijan, Farid Orujov, a representative of the Central Election Commission reported. According to him, this amounts to 1,715,291 people.

It should be noted that, according to independent observers, there are virtually no voters at polling stations in Baku, and this election has the lowest voter turnout.

Polling stations will close at 7:00 PM. No quorum is required for the elections to be considered valid.
