Official Yerevan is ready for diplomatic relations with Turkey
Baku/14.12.21/Turan: We are ready to start normalizing relations with Turkey without any preconditions, Eduard Aghajanyan, chairman of the commission on foreign relations of the Armenian parliament, told reporters on Tuesday.
“The matter concerns the beginning of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey. This in no way means that Armenia is giving up key and state interests. On the contrary, we are confident that the establishment of diplomatic relations with Turkey proceeds from the state interests of Armenia," he said.
In turn, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan stated that Armenia, like Turkey, will appoint a special representative to establish a bilateral dialogue. In his words, it has not yet been decided who will be the representative of Armenia. -02D-
