Oktay Asadov is invited to the opening of the third bridge over the Bosporus
On August 26 the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Speaker of the Parliament Oktay Asadov will participate in the opening ceremony of the third bridge suspended over the Bosphorus in Istanbul, reported the Milli Majlis press service. The ceremony will be attended by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the head of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, President of Northern Cyprus Mustafa Akinci, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Rasim Ljajić, First Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Dmitri Kumsishvili , the ministers of transport and the economy of some countries.
The third bridge over the Bosporus has been named after Sultan Selim (Yavuz.) Its width is 59 m, and the length is 1408 m. On the bridge, in addition to the highway there are two rail lines.
