Baku/13.05.23/Turan: Within a few hours on Saturday, Ukrainians shot down two of the latest Russian military aircraft - SU-35 and SU-34. Their three pilots were killed.
Immediately after that, two MI-8 helicopters were shot down too, in which 6 more pilots were killed. This was reported by Russian war correspondents.
The destruction of all military aviation took place in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, bordering Ukraine.
Russian sources cannot explain how and from where the planes and helicopters were shot attacked.
According to military correspondents, planes and helicopters were shot down from the territory of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine where air defense systems were deployed to the very border with Russia.
According to other sources, Russian aviation was destroyed by Ukrainian sabotage groups that penetrated Russian territory.
Today's losses are the largest aviation losses of the Russian Federation in one day since the beginning of the war in February 2022. -02B-
