Organization of the Agreement on Collective Security (OACS) wants to repair weapons in Armenia
Yerevan/29.01.13/Turan-ArmInfo: A delegation of the OACS Secretariat arrived in Yerevan with a very large program that includes a series of measures to expand military-technical cooperation and the repair of equipment and weapons in the territory of Armenia. This was stated at a press conference held in Yerevan on January 29 by the Secretary General, Nikolai Bordyuzha.
"These steps focus on greater intensification of cooperation in the field of collective security among the OACS states, on Armenia's active involvement in joint efforts to ensure national security. Yerevan is paying very serious attention to the activities of the OACS. I would like to note once again that Armenia is one of the most active members of the organization that makes an interesting proposal for a number of joint programs. We are ready to cooperate in ensuring the security of Armenia at the highest level, so that the power structures of the republic can effectively provide it," he said.
Bordyuzha said that in the course of events in Yerevan issues also discussed were the creation in Armenia of certified service centers for technical repair of armored vehicles and engineering equipment, anti-aircraft and helicopters, “Mi” vehicles produced in Russia and the possibility of organizing an assembly of car production on the basis of chassis "KAMAZ". -02D-
