Our answer to Pashinyan - Karabakh is not a participant in the negotiations
Baku / 14.05.19 / Turan: Head of the Presidential Administration for Foreign Policy of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev commented on yesterday"s meeting in Brussels between Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the EU"s Eastern Partnership program.
In an interview with Radio Liberty, Pashinyan said that progress in resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is possible with the participation of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Commenting on the opinion of the Armenian Prime Minister, Hikmet Hajiyev noted that the main reason for the unresolved Karabakh conflict is the aggressive policy of Armenia. "After Armenia"s termination of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, progress can be made in resolving the conflict and peace will be achieved.
As for the format of the negotiations, there are only two parties to the conflict - Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said. -02D-
