Mamedyarov on the reason for the refusal to sign the Eastern Partnership Declaration
Baku/14.05.19/Turan: Azerbaijan is not satisfied with the text of the Declaration dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership program. According to Radio Liberty, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said this at a conference in Brussels dedicated to this event.
According to him, the text of the document does not reflect the principles enshrined in the Helsinki Final Act and the UN Charter.
The minister did not say which principles he had in mind, however, Baku had previously made it clear that he would not sign the document if it does not say about the territorial integrity of the participating countries. -02D-
