PACE rapporteurs call on the parties to come to the negotiation
Baku / 07.07.17 / Turan: PACE rapporteurs on Azerbaijan and Armenia are concerned about the growing tension in connection with the shelling of the village of Alkhanly of the Fizuli region, the PACE said.The information emphasizes that they are concerned about the deaths among the civilian population, including a two-year-old child, as well as the presence of the wounded.
The rapporteurs on Azerbaijan and Armenia Alan Meale (United Kingdom), Giuseppe Galati (Italy), Stefan Schenach (Austria), Cesar Preda (Romania) call on the parties to respect the ceasefire and return to the negotiating table, as there is no military solution to this conflict.
Speakers expressed their condolences over human losses.
On July 4, the Armenian Armed Forces shelled the village of Alkhanly of Fizuli region with mortars and grenade launchers. As a result, residents of the village SahibaGuliyeva and her two-year-old granddaughter Zahra were killed. SarvinazGuliyeva received a fragmentation wound, she was hospitalized. -0--
