Pashazadeh Asks Mayor of Moscow to Allocate Land for Mosque
Moscow / 01/31/19 / Turan: The head of the Caucasus Muslims Department, Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazadeh, held a meeting with representatives of the Diaspora in Moscow on Thursday.
As the meeting participants told Turan, during the conversation, the issue of the absence of an Azerbaijani mosque in Moscow was raised.
According to the Sheikh, he appealed to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin with a request to allocate space for the construction of a mosque and to Patriarch Kirill with a request to support this idea.
The Sheikh and the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, Polad Bulbul Oglu, who was present at the meeting, promised to make every effort to solve this problem. -05D-
