Pashinyan did not refuse to meet with Aliyev – Armenian Foreign Ministry
The Azerbaijani side rejected the Armenian side's proposal for a Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting in London, within the framework of the European Political Community summit. This was announced on July 18 by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ani Badalyan.
“The Armenian side proposed to hold a bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan within the framework of the European Political Community summit in the UK, but the Azerbaijani side rejected. The proposal of the Armenian side remains valid,” she noted.
This morning, Advisor to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev Hikmet Hajiyev said that, allegedly, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan rejected an offer to meet with the President of Azerbaijan in London.
