Pashinyan held a meeting with the French Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group
Baku/14.09.21/Turan: On September 13, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Yerevan with the French co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Stefan Visconti. According to the Armenian government, "the parties discussed ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and in this context stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group activities."
It ought to be noted that a day earlier, outgoing French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote said in an interview with Radio Liberty that France was ready to consider Armenia's appeal for cooperation in the field of defense.
"In general, our role is not to prepare for a future war. Our role is to avoid a new conflict and collaborate in the political process to thus finally resolve the current issues of the region, "the Ambassador stressed.
At present, it is essential to consolidate peace and start a political process between Armenia and Azerbaijan under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group, he added. - 02D-
