Personnel Changes in the Diplomatic Missions of Azerbaijan in Europe
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a number of decrees on personnel changes at the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan in European countries and in international organizations.
The Head of State recalled Arif Mammadov from the post of permanent representative of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Appointed to this position was Yagubov Emin, who prior to this appointment served as Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the EU in Brussels, as well as Ambassador to Belgium.
To those positions appointed was Fuad Iskandarov, former Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands and representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
As Azerbaijani Ambassador to Netherlands was appointed Mirhamza Efendiyev, who had previously served as Ambassador to Belgium and Greece.
In addition, the President appointed Gabriel Valentin Comanescu Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in the Romanian city of Сonstanсe. -06D--

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the deaths of two people during the recent floods in Baku, Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov said commenting on the consequences of the flooding of tunnels in the capital during the heavy rains on October 22 to journalists. According to him, the sewer system could not handle the large volume of floodwater, which led to the drowning of two people in a tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku. The floods revealed vulnerabilities in Baku's water infrastructure.
