Police makes psychological pressure on the opposition member
Adviser of the leader of "Musavat" party, Mustafa Hajibayli, arrested for 15 days, is sentenced to forced labor in jail of the Absheron District Police Department.
According to his lawyer Neymat Kerimli, on June 3, his client told him that he is under psychological pressure from Deputy Chief of the jail. His is subject to hard physical work , and in the evening they had to call an ambulance.
Today the lawyer met with the Chief of Absheron district police, who said that Hajibayli must do physical work. The lawyer said that it unlawfully, and no one can be forced to work.
"The police chief said that he has an order. I asked him to show an order and the regulations. However, the chief police did not do it, and admitted that he instructed his assistants to force Mustafa Hajibayli to labor," said the lawyer.
According to him, information about forcing Hajibayli to work will be delivered to the ICRC. The lawyer believes that these measures are aimed at psychologically breaking

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the President of Somalia to Baku "will open a new page in the close friendly relations" between the two countries.
