Positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Kalbajar and Tovuz shelled

Azerbaijan's parliament has ratified a series of agreements with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) in Baku. The agreements were signed in Baku on August 17, 2024, and in Bonn on August 23, 2024, between the Azerbaijani government and the Secretariat of the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement.

France's Energy Minister, Olga Givernet, recently arrived in Baku to participate in the pre-conference discussions for COP29. "Pre-COP29 discussions are essential for preparing for COP29 and advancing on key climate issues. The event in Baku represents a turning point in debates on climate finance, fossil fuels, and adaptation," Olga Givernet wrote on her account on the platform X.

On October 10, at the trial of economist Fazil Gasimov, who has been on a hunger strike for 121 days, the defendant stated that he was subjected to moral and physical abuse in the Medical Institution of the Penitentiary Service.
