PPFA: the regime is the author of the crime against Musavat
The Popular Front issued a statement in which it condemned the attack on January 13 in Lankaran on the leader of Musavat Isa Gambar and other leaders of the opposition group, who came to the area in the south to attend the party’s event.
The helpers of the authorities damaged Gambar’s car and used force against his companions, including journalists. No police intervention strengthened the belief that it was a pre-planned action.
"PPFA sees this not as an action of amateur individuals, but as outrage of the authorities. PPFA strongly condemns this dishonest action planned and implemented at the state level and claims that the use of vile methods against known personalities in the society does not promise anything good to the authorities in the future," the statement said.
PPFA stressed that the author of the crime against Musavat was the power, and required "the Aliyev regime to be responsible and to act against political opponents in the framework of the law and ethics, and to end the law of the jungle in governing the country." -16D06 -
