President of Kazakhstan to pay visit to Azerbaijan
Baku/18.08.22/Turan: President of Kazakhstan Kassymzhomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Baku on August 24 at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was reported on August 18 by the press service of the head of Kazakhstan.
The agenda of the talks between the leaders of the two countries includes issues of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani strategic partnership with an emphasis on the intensification of trade and economic, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Following the talks, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
On August 19, Tokayev will visit Sochi to meet with the President of Russia and "discuss topical issues."
Owing to Kazakhstan's difficulties in pumping oil through Russia via the CPC (Caspian Pipeline Consortium), Azerbaijan is considered as one of the possible alternative routes for exporting hydrocarbons from Kazakhstan.–06B-

On November 26, a group of reserve officers from the Nakhchivan special forces held a protest near the Azerbaijani presidential administration.
