President of Radio Liberty condemned the persecution of Khadija Ismayilova
The head of the Corporation Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty, Kevin Klose condemned Azerbaijani authorities for exerting pressure on the Azerbaijani service employee Khadija Ismayilova.
"Allegations of pro-government media against dissidents was widespread in the Soviet period. Unfortunately, we are still witnessing such cases in post-Soviet countries. Recent allegations against Khadija Ismayilova are not only delusional, but also dangerous," said Klose.
He is convinced that these charges are politically motivated and fictitious in order to prosecute the journalist. -06D-
