Program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan is signed
Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, Elmar Mammadyarov and Sirojiddin Aslovj discussed in Baku prospects of bilateral relations. Mammadyarov thanked the Tajik counterpart for the support of the position by Dushanbe of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh conflict.
Aslov, in turn, noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries in international organizations.
He also pointed to the potential for increased cooperation in the political, economic, mining, transport and education sectors, investment and trade. The parties agreed to enhance cooperation and increase mutual visits.
The talks resulted in signing a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for the 2014-15.—03D--

Journalist Nargiz Abaslamova, held in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, was subjected to violence by a guard. While passing by the cell of her colleague Sevinj Vagifgizi, Abaslamova tried to greet her, reported on Abzas Media's Facebook page. However, guard Aygul Babaeva forcibly dragged Abaslamova away and deeply scratched the journalist's arm. Abaslamova stated that this is not the first time the mentioned guard has used force and been rude to journalists. A few days ago, Babaeva also used force against Sevinj Vagifgizi.
