Prosecution Office: there is no case against Ismail Omarov and Aydin Abbasov
The criminal case against the former Director of Public TV, Ismail Omarov, was not initiated. Media reports on this matter are false and are refuted, the spokesperson of the Prosecutor General Office, Eldar Sultanov, said at the press conference,
Note that some of the media, for several days, have stubbornly written that a lawsuit was filed against Omarov because of the embezzlement of 15 million manat, revealed on ITV by the Audit Chamber.
The head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Office, Kamran Aliyev, at the same press conference, denied media claims that investigation against MP Aydin Abbasov, (son of Abbas Abbasov), is ongoing, and he may be arrested. -16D04-
