Prosecutor agency about the night missile strike on Ganja city
Baku / 17.10.20 / Turan: The number of victims of a night missile strike on the city of Ganja has reached 65, including 13 died, 52 were injured, the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan reported.
Two young children were among the dead.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan filed a lawsuit on the case under the Articles 100.2 (conducting an aggressive war); 120.2.1 (premeditated murder committed by a criminal organization); 120.2.4 (premeditated murder committed with particular cruelty or in a generally dangerous way); 120.2.7 (premeditated murder of two or more persons); 120.2.12 (premeditated murder motivated by national, racial, religious hatred or enmity); 186.3 (premeditated destruction or damage of property on an especially large scale) and according to other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan ...The investigation into the case has been entrusted to the Investigative Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in its statement accused Armenia of deliberately shelling the city of Ganja.
“Deliberate and indiscriminate attacks by Armenia on the civilian population, flagrant violation of the norms and principles of international law, including international humanitarian law, as well as the declared humanitarian ceasefire and targeted killing of civilians are another war crime and a crime against humanity. The Armenian leadership bears full responsibility for this crime,” the document says.
The international community should not ignore these inhuman actions of Armenia against the Azerbaijani people, the document says. — 06B-
