Prosecutor General’s Office Announces International Arrest Warrant on Several MEPs
Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan has announced an international arrest warrant on members of the European Parliament Frank Engel (Luxembourg), Eleni Teoharus (Cyprus) and Jaromir Stetina (Czech Republic). The reason for this was the visit of these MEPs to the occupied territories in connection with the so-called "constitutional referendum" conducted by Karabakhi separatists.
In relation to Frank Engel, Eleni Teoharus and Jaromir Stetina a criminal case has been filed on charges of repeated illegal visit to the occupied territories.
The court decided to arrest these MEPs. They have been put on the international wanted list through Interpol. -06D--
