Prosecutor: Rauf Mirkadyrov passed Armenians secret information
Journalist Rauf Mirkadyrov is suspected of collaborating with Armenia secret services since April 2008, and repeated meetings in Armenia , Georgia and Turkey, and passing on their behalf the information about the socio-political and military spheres, a state secret, with photos and diagrams to use against Azerbaijan. His actions were directed against the sovereignty, national security, territorial integrity and defense of Azerbaijan, reads the report of the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan released on Monday.
Alawsuit has been brought against Mirkadirov under the Article 274 (high treason,) by decision of Nasimi district court, and he has been arrested for three months.
An operative investigative team consisting of the Prosecutor General's Office and Ministry of National Security has been created, the report said. -02D-
