Prosecutor's office investigates facts of corruption in Philharmonic
The General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General conducted an operation at the Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic due to the revealed economic offenses.
As stated in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, as a result of the investigative measures, signs of a number of crimes were revealed. A criminal case has been opened under Articles 179.3.2 (fraud), 308.1 (abuse of official authority), 311.3.3 (taking a bribe) and 313 (official forgery).
A preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen by a court decision on July 5 against employee of the Philharmonic Rashad Mammadov. No position of the arrested person is indicated in the message.
