Public Chamber to Hold an Unsanctioned Rally in Front of Parliament
Despite the refusal of the Baku Mayor's Office to authorize a picket of the Public Chamber on November 2 (opposite the parliament), opposition members still intend to hold the protest. Coordination Council of the Public Chamber representative, Adalat Yusibov told Turan that the rally would be held in protest of the draft amendments to the legislation providing for multiple increases in the fines for the organization and holding unsanctioned protests. The picket is scheduled for Friday at 12.00.
Note that at tomorrow's meeting of the Milli Majlis these amendments will be considered. -03B06-
