Baku/15.04.21/Turan: On April 14, in the evening, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Russia and Belarus. Putin and Lukashenko discussed important issues on the bilateral agenda, reads the statements of the Kremlin.
“In the context of the just-conducted visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan, the topic of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement was also touched upon,” the message says.
The press service of the President of Belarus also reported about the telephone conversation, but there is not a word about Karabakh.
“The development of Belarusian-Russian relations was in the center of attention of the heads of state. The presidents also exchanged views on the issues of the international agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings,” the press service of the President of Belarus said.
The admission of Azerbaijan to the Eurasian Economic Union has been actively discussed in recent days. According to unofficial data, this issue will be initiated at the next summit of the organization. However, to resolve the issue, the consent of all members of the organization, including Armenia, is required.
