Quarantine extended until May 4
Baku/18.04.20/The quarantine regime in Azerbaijan was extended until May 4, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said in the evening on April 18.
Thus, restrictions, including restrictions on entry and exit into the country by all transport means, except for transportation of goods, as well as classes in educational institutions will remain until 00:00 on May 4th.
The closure of the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan is also extended until the deadline, except for freight traffic.
According to the information of the Operational Headquarters, a plan to phase out the quarantine regime will be announced next week.
A special quarantine regime was introduced on March 24. From March 31, a restriction on citizens leaving their homes was introduced until April 20, with the exception of special cases. Since April 5, the system of leaving the house via SMS permissions has been introduced. -0-

In particular, a verdict was issued in the case "Ismail Bagvanov and Others v. Azerbaijan."
