Another activist arrested for 30 days
Baku/18.04.20/Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Islam Islamzade, detained on April 17 in the evening, was sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest by a decision of the Nasimi district court.
According to the PFPA, he was convicted under the Article 211 (violation of the quarantine regime) and 535.1 (non-submission to the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
PFPA considers the allegations far-fetched and politically motivated.
Over the past 10 days, at least seven PFPA members, including an assistant to the head of the party and two volunteer bodyguards, were arrested under administrative procedures. –06D-
