Ramil Usubov promised the Turks to fight against FETO in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov, who is in Turkey, met today in Ankara with Ali Afghan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey. The information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey reads that the meeting touched upon the attempted coup on July 15, and the cooperation between the two countries. At a press conference after the talks Ali Afghan said that the fight against terrorism remains one of the main topics of cooperation. According to him, the parties cooperate in the destruction of cells by FETO (supporters of cleric Gulen Fetullaha) in Turkey and Azerbaijan. "And then we will continue the exchange of intelligence and joint actions," said Ali.
In turn, Usubov said that he arrived in Turkey to discuss steps taken after the attempted coup on July 15 and the next steps. "Steps against FETO cells in Azerbaijan will be continued further. It was also a crime against Azerbaijan. All measures will be taken to resolve this issue at the highest level," promised Usubov. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan did not report on the visit of Usubov to Ankara. -16D-
