Rapper Farrell Williams Urges Baku to Freedom
The famous rapper Farrell Williams pleasantly surprised the audience at the final concert in Baku for visitors and spectators of the racing Formula-1. In his performance on the seafront the rapper called hundreds of people to raise voices in defense of freedom and sing along with him.
Addressing the audience, the rapper said the Azerbaijani youth will achieve change in the future and no one can prevent it.
According to Radio Azadlig, these words of the rapper were his response to the request by the international coalition of human rights organizations to Farrell to raise his voice in defense of human rights in Azerbaijan.
The representative of the coalition Sports for Rights Rebecca Vincent welcomed Farrell’s statement, confirming that the coalition asked the rapper to raise issues of freedom in his speech.
"We are very excited with Farrell’s calls. We hope that Azerbaijan’s leadership that was present at the concert heard these appeals and will release the imprisoned youth activists," she said. -03B-
