Release of political prisoners - a priority for NCDF in 2014
Protecting the rights of political prisoners and the struggle for their liberation is defined as a priority of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) for the year 2014. This decision was taken on January 22, at the first meeting of the Coordinating Council of NCDF.
The structure of 19 members was formed on January 17 NCDF session to guide the National Council between sessions.
At the meeting of the Coordinating Council was discussed in general socio-political situation in the country and discussed issues of strengthening activities of NCDF.
Along with the activities for the release of political prisoners , NCDF also intends to fight for the establishment of a democratic election atmosphere in the country.
It was also decided to hold a charity marathon to assist the activists arrested and fined during the protest of December 29, 2013 against incitement to suicide of the Karabakh war invalid Zaur Hasanov.
NCJA also intends to provide legal support to the veterans of the Karabakh war .
Besides, they decided to hold a January 28 conference on the 130th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people in the early 20th century Mamed Emin Rasulzade.
On January 31, at noon NCDF will visit the monument to Rasulzade in the village Novkhani .
They also discussed NCDF activities in the near future .
