Russia offers Azerbaijan combat aircraft
Baku/01.07.19/Turan: During the exhibition of armament "Army -2019", the Russian side offered Azerbaijan various types of combat aircraft.
According to Azeri Defense"s site close to the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, representatives of the Russian Aircraft Corporation offered Azerbaijan to buy Su-30 SM fighters and MiG-35. However, Baku did not make a choice.
During the current exhibition, the Russian side offered the Su-34 bomber and Su-35 fighter to Azerbaijan, as well as the military transport IL-76 MD 90.
Demonstration flights of these aircraft were conducted. The Russian side said it was ready to start negotiations on the supply of these aircraft to Azerbaijan, the report said. -02D-
