Russia Ready to Revive Turkish Stream
Russia is ready to provide the necessary gas supplies to Europe, including on the Turkish Stream, TASS quoted the Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
"South-Eastern Europe needs additional gas supply and a reliable energy supply. In this sense, Russia is ready to deliver the required amount of gas - we have the resources and we are competitive. Therefore, if there is a corresponding interest of European consumers in the development of infrastructure across the Black Sea, through the countries adjacent to the Black Sea to Europe, we will certainly provide all the supplies and we will cooperate," he said, answering a question about the prospects of the project Turkish Stream.
Recall that Turkey previously rejected this project with the support of the European Union. The project was finally buried after the incident with the downed aircraft. Initially, Russia planned to use the project Turkish Stream to supply up to 60 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe.
Novak’s statement was made on the same day that Moscow and Ankara announced their intention to restore their relations. -02D-
