Russian Community of Azerbaijan calls on RF Prosecutor General to call responsibility of author of provocative article
Baku / 12.03.20 / Turan: Chairman of the Russian Community of Azerbaijan, Mikhail Zabelin sent a letter to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov with a request to pay attention to the article by the author Vladimir Khomyakov entitled “Russians, do not leave, we need slaves and prostitutes” posted on the website TV channel Tsargrad.
An article published on February 26, the anniversary of the massacre of Azerbaijanis in the Azerbaijani city of Khojaly, has the sole purpose of provoking an ethnic conflict and sowing hostility and hatred between the Azerbaijani and Russian peoples. There is also evidence that the article completely distorts the story by falsifying facts and events, the letter said.
Zabelin condemns the actions of Khomyakov, noting that Azerbaijan has always been famous for its multinationality and respect for the rights of all nations, all peoples living on its territory.
Zabelin asks to check Khomyakov’s article for violation of the requirements of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of Russia and Article 10.6 of the Federal Law “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection” of July 27, 2006 and hold the author liable. — 06D-
