Russian Foreign Ministry urges to investigate video of executions of Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers
Baku/03.10.22/Turan: “The indicated video materials are replete with frames of extreme cruelty. All cases of violation of international humanitarian law must be thoroughly investigated. We call on the Azerbaijani and Armenian authorities to immediately conduct a comprehensive in-depth analysis of these videos, including for signs of war crimes. If the facts are confirmed, all those responsible should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told in response to a request from the Russia "Today TV" channel regarding the video footage that appeared on social networks the day before.
“Russia continues to make serious efforts to improve the situation in the region and normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan. We proceed from the fact that there is no alternative to peace. We are ready to provide the parties with the necessary assistance,” she added. --02D---
