Today the Sabunchu District Court passed a ruling to arrest for two months the theologian Taleh Bagirzade. He is charged under Article 234.1 (illegal possession of drugs) - 1.026 gram of heroin.
Relatives and members of the religious community are convinced that the accusation is concocted, and believe that Bagirzade is persecuted for criticizing the authorities.-06B-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.
