Baku/02.08.21/Turan: The Khachmaz district branch of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party on Monday expelled MP Eldaniz Salimov from its ranks.
A source in the party told Turan that Salimov was expelled "for actions damaging the reputation of the party."
On July 29, Salimov beat a policeman. The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against him and asked the parliament to deprive Salimov of immunity. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.
