Sasna Tsrer Decides to Annex Karabakh to Armenia
Baku / 18.03.19 / Turan: The Sasna Tsrer Party begins the process of incorporating Nagorno-Karabakh into Armenia as a province. One of the leaders of this party Varuzhan Avetisyan stated this at a press conference in Yerevan on March 18.
"The Pan-Armenian Sasna Tsrer movement is starting this process now, since a political-organizational unit has already been created in Artsakh. Recently, the Sasna Tsrer party was registered in Artsakh, and its main task is to ensure this process," Avetisyan said.
Answering the question of how the party represents the legal aspect of this issue and whether the Karabakhis, who declared independence, agree with him to obtain the status of a region, one of the party leaders Zhirayr Sefilyan said: "We are confident that the overwhelming majority shares this idea, and I am sure the action we begin will be to everyone's liking. There are many legal ways of the process: it can be a referendum, it can be ratification by both parliaments, or there can be nationwide elections," Sefilyan said. -02D-
