Senator Cardin Calls for Release of Rasul Jafarov and Arif Yunusov
An influential US senator, the head of the Helsinki Commission of the Congress Ben Cardin condemned the extension of pre-trial arrest of Rasul Jafarov and Arif Yunusov.
"Extension of pre-trial detention for Arif Yunus & Rasul Jafarov is punitive & unwarranted. Azerbaijan should release them unconditionally," Cardin wrote in his micro blog on Twitter. -02B-
