Separatists say gas supply to Karabakh cut off
Baku/17.01.23/Turan: At 1pm on 17 January the gas supply to Karabakh was again cut off, Armenian media reported on Tuesday. The Armenian side blamed Azerbaijan.
This is the second such incident in the last weeks. Gas supply was cut off on 13 December and restored on 15 December. The gas is supplied to Karabakh from Armenian territory and Baku has denied any involvement in the incident.
Recall that in March 2022, gas supply was also cut off due to a pipeline breakdown. After 10 days the pipeline was restored. -02D-
