Sheikh asked the Patriarch to resolve the issue of the Azerbaijani mosque
Baku / 30.01.19 / Turan: On Wednesday in Moscow Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade met with Patriarch of All Russia Kirill.
According to the delegation members, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, including the issue of allocation of land for the construction of a mosque for Azerbaijani believers.
The Azerbaijani diaspora is one of the largest in Moscow and, according to various estimates, ranges from 800,000 to a million. However, they do not have separate spiritual premises, unlike other ethnic groups.
This question became even more relevant after the scandal around the Yard mosque, where Azerbaijanis were no longer allowed to go. -05D-
