On Tuesday, during the official visit of Ilham Aliyev to Tehran a package of bilateral agreements was signed. According to the MEHR agency the signed documents are: Agreement on cooperation in emergency situations, on cooperation in customs matters, in the field of veterinary medicine; as well as, a framework agreement on electricity supplies, to unification the railways of the two countries on cooperation in the construction of the railway bridge Astara- Astara. The Memorandums in the field of health between the Ministry of Health of the two countries, between the state company SOCAR and the National Iranian Oil Company, SOCAR and Iranian Ghadir Investment Company were also signed. The documents were signed in the presence of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Hassan Rouhani. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
