Six presidential candidates approved
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has confirmed the nomination of two presidential candidates - the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Fuad Aliyev, and the head of Citizens and Development Party, Ali Aliyev.
Earlier, the CEC approved the candidacy of the current President, head of the party, New Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the head of the party Azadlig, Ahmed Orudj, the self-promoter, Ilgar Altai, and the Chairman of the Umid (Hope) Party, Igbal Aghazadeh.
Pending at the CEC are also documents for the head of the United Popular Front Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Araz Alizadeh, the Deputy Chairman of Ana Vatan Party, Zahid Orudj, the head of the party, Modern Musavat, Hafiz Hajiyev, and the head of the social group, "Free elections in 2013," Arastun Orujlu.
In addition, the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces, Rustam Ibragimbekov, the leader of the party, Musavat, Isa Gambar, and others have been nominated as presidential candidates. -03B

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
