Six Women from Azerbaijan Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Iraq
Baku / 30.04.18 / Turan: On April 29, the Iraqi court sentenced 29 foreign citizens to life imprisonment for participating in terrorist activities as part of ISIS. According to the Al-Guds-al-Arabiya TV channel, six women from Azerbaijan are among those convicted, besides 19 citizens of Russia and 4 citizens of Tajikistan.
At the trial, all the women declared that they had arrived in Iraq with their husbands who forced them to participate in the terrorist movement. The women were captured during the fighting for the city of Telafur. -16D-
