Speaker of the Milli Majlis makes a visit to Russia
Baku/03.06.14/Turan : On June 4, the Milli Majlis delegation headed by Speaker Oktay Asadov will make an official visit to Russia. According to the press service of the Parliament, the delegation includes leaders of several parliamentary committees and deputies.
During the visit Asadov will meet with the chairman of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko , Speaker of the State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin , Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
The meetings and negotiations will be on the development of inter-parliamentary relations , exchange of experience in matters of legislation and information. The visit will last until June 5.
In recent years the authorities of Azerbaijan actively copy reactions of changes in the law that carries Russian . Thus, laws restricting the activities of civil society, reinforcing the persecution of dissidents and opponents of the authorities , as well as independent media in Azerbaijan were largely rewritten from Russian laws. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.
