Speaker of the Milli Mejlis is leaving for St.Petersburg
Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Oktay Asadov, lead a delegation of Azerbaijan at the 38th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS, as well as at the International Conference "The World of Chingiz Aitmatov: integration of cultures and dialogue" to be held in St.Petersburg. Events will take place from 21 to 23 November.
According to the press service of the Parliament, the delegation includes the
MPs Arif Rahimzadeh, Elton Mammadov, Aslan Jafarov, Rufat Guliyev, and chief of staff of Milli Mejlis, Safa Mirzayev.
Sessions of the permanent committees for political affairs and international cooperation, science and education, agricultural policy, as well as natural resources and the environment, will be held. A database will be prepared for an intergovernmental agreement on the formation of a common information system of CIS. -17D-

On February 5, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine. According to the document, the Ministry of Energy has been allocated 1 million US dollars to purchase and send electrical equipment, manufactured in Azerbaijan, to Ukraine.
