"Supporters" of Mehriban Aliyeva subject to pressure?
The attention of media is once again focused on the group, calling itself the party "Azerbaijan Democratic World", (PDMA), which last month put forwarded a candidacy of the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for presidency.
Some media reported on the detention of the leader of the group, Alisahib Huseynov, and on the capture by the police the office of the structure. The source for information became another group, which also operates under the name of PDMA, but supports President Ilham Aliyev.
However, the group which nominated Mehriban Aliyeva, denied the reports about the pressure on its leader. However, Alisahib Huseynov’s telephone was out of rich during the day.
According to unofficial reports, on July 24 Huseynov was taken to the police, and there was a preventive conversation with him. Then he did not contact with anyone. At the same time, the press service of the Interior Ministry's press service has no information confirming these reports.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office also has no information about it.
Meanwhile, the observers do not exclude that the pressure was made on the leadership of "supporters" of Mehriban Aliyeva, in order to stop their "amateur activities", making a split in the ruling elite.–06D-
